I transitioned from a background in graphic design and freelance artistry to into my tattooing. Over the past couple years, my focus has been on refining my style—fine line tattooing that takes influence from classic styles of tattooing with a modern take.
I have a love for all things old and vintage. I take influence from anything from renaissance artwork to vintage adverts to traditional tattoos. I want my work to reflect my love for historical art, with the aspiration of creating pieces that are timeless.
MY STORY
The design process can differ depending on the project, but generally most of the design is done together on the day of the session. I believe a tattoo is a collaboration between artist and client, and therefore to get the best results we should design this together. If the tattoo is something that requires me to draw I will do this prior to the appointment.
I hold a principle of not replicating designs by other tattoo artists.
PROCESS
Most appointments are done by the day session, as this way we can take our time and not rush to finish, I offer a discount on my hourly rate for this reason on day sessions.
Smaller pieces are quoted based off an hourly rate but can vary depending on factors such as placement and detail.
